The Latvian Medical Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to improving healthcare in Latvia. Since 1990 the Foundation has assisted in providing modern medical supplies, enhancing the education of medical students, nurses and physicians, developing medical information technology, and improving children's healthcare as well as cardiovascular and orthopaedic services in Latvia. The LMF is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization as specified by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
